Possible Coolant Leak?

So after a long winter I decided today was the day to take the rod off the stand and get her fired up for the season.

So as gently lowered the bike stand as the bike started tipping towards the kick stand I heard a shift of fluid running with the gravity.

Ran around the bike to find out what was happening and I noticed a little (about the size of a tennis ball) pink pool of liquid on the floor at the front left corner of the bike, under the rad. I immediately jack the bike back up so I could track where the leak is coming from.

I took the custom cover off to find a electrical wires underneath a little wet but no discernible evidence of where the actual leak is coming from.

Then I figured the screws I use to hold the rad cover on which screw into the side of the rad might of punched through the side and started a leak on the rad itself. There was some moisture there.

Slowly let the bike down a second time but this time nothing, no rushing water sound, no leak in the floor...

So I figure I'll fire up the bike and watch the area for a leak, I didn't run the bike very long but nothing (I expected fluids to shoot out the side of my rad like a fire hydrant lol)

So now I'm baffled, I check the coolant tank, it's down a little, I'll top it up. But as far as I understand this is a closed system there's nothing to run off a little and then stop. Should I leave the bike running for awhile and build heat first or how do I effectively test for this leak.

If I actually did puncture through the side of the rad in the screw holes, is that sealable or new rad? Don't even want to know what that's gonna cost me lol.

1 confused vrod owner. I'd love to believe that this is a non issue but that pool came from somewhere.

Any thoughts ideas or ways to test for a leak??
