I am new here and tried to search with out any luck. I just bought a 03 v rod and the battery was dead. I hooked up a charger turned on the key and noticed the trip meter and lights came on. When I went to start it sparked so I adjusted the cables and it started this time but none of the gauges are working now. All blinkers and lights work but the trip rpm and gas gauges are not. I checked all the fuses under the seat and all are good. I did install a new battery. What do I check now? Thanks for any help.
