So I've been dealing with my engine cutting out at around 6k RPM, 2008 NRS. All my forum searches pointed to either a cold engine or a defective ECT (engine coolant temp) sensor. Since this was happening even after the engine was at/over operating temperature with outside temps at over 100 degrees (Arizona), I assumed that the problem was the ECT and even ordered the bypass switch that tricks the ECM into thinking that the engine is at operating temp. Well, that wasn't it. It turns out the problem was the ground wire the goes from the negative battery terminal to the engine. :banghead: It was hanging on by a thread but since the problem was on the engine side connector, it was really hard to see. Just something to keep in mind.
