Been riding bikes for nearly 40 years, been a hangaround with a club i wont name but have traded off rides on runs from time to time ( my old somewhat built GS 1000 Suzuki, for various members' various Harleys and big Jap twins ) and the first and only one that ever impressed me was a vrod ( I like fast ), so when i ran across this low miles blue Nightrod for sale that matched perfectly the paint on my Mustang, seemed meant to be, and I bought it.
That was about 3 months ago. It now has cfr pipe, fuel pgmr . a worn thin back tire and thin rear brakes. This wk I bought new tires, brakes, and 26 tooth turbo tec front cog and planned to change it all today and maybe go to track next wkd, buuut.... as luck would have it......
I've already ground as far as I feel safe into the output shaft cover tabs and still cant get the gear to clear....any one else been there.....any advice?
