First Vrod Test Ride, Have an issue that may be easy to fix

Hello all,
Yesterday I test drove my very first cruiser bike ever in my life, I was at dealership looking at the used bikes they had because I just recently moved from Colorado to Florida and my KTM adventure bike is really of no use down here, there is really a very limited amount of places I can ride it offroad compared to colorado, so I thought about picking up a more street comfortable bike to ride and the dealership stopped in at had this harley vrod in the corner that caught my attention, I honestly was not looking to look at cruiser style bikes, but the looks of the bike just caught my attention really hard, I was given the go ahead to test drive it.....so I took it out, immediately I missed the rear brake and shifter because I'm so use of them being directly under me...also the turning was immediately noticeably different compared to my past bikes, but after about 2 miles I really warmed up to the bike...

ISSUE: When I was on the test drive, the placement of the frame bar on the ride side of the tank and the narrow location of the forward brake position was a little uncomfortable, I found myself kneeing the frame bar when trying to hit the rear brake....is there a way to change this so it's slightly wider so the angle is more comfortable?
