I was in the middle of tuning my bike with the new VRFI Gen4. Did all the initial stuff, set TPS voltage to .4, loaded base map did warm up and a first run with it. Today noticed while watching live data on warm up my IAC value was a little high so set that down to the value of 30 as required after bike was warmed up. Went to give it a little throttle and bike stalled. restarted and it idled fine but again stalled when any throttle was added. Went back to the Idle TPS screen and my voltage was fine at .4 but there was no input to the TPS% screen. When the throttle was turned the voltage increased normally but nothing on the TPS% scale.
Does this sound like the fuel pressure regulator has gone KAPUTT? I tired the wire wiggle test, rechecked it again with the software, bike starts and idles but no throttle...just stalls. Has anyone ever experience and instant demise of this part before?
thanks
Tom
