My ears hurt! Need help..

My 07 has the Bub 2/1 exhaust system, yes it sounds mean, but after 20 minutes my riding interest is gone. The droning stays with me for hours after the bike is shut down.
I have removed the baffle and installed new baffling material and no success.
What are my options without sacrificing performance? Should I locate a stock head pipe and search for ........? Or........?
