Ok I have come across a few gas stations that are now offering one level or another of "E" free fuel. One where I normaly fill up near home switched to no ethonal 93 a few weeks ago.
Now I cannot say that the bike runs like its got a tuner and I picked up 10HP. Though I will say it does smell different burnt, and there is a slight difference in the way it runs. I do not think that it would make a difference at the track of dyno days. So maybe a slight HP gain... The real thing I noticed is the bike idles smoother and a friend aslo commented on it sounding smoother and he didnt know I have been running E free. Last fill up it was only $2.89 where as the station across the street is about $2.60 for 93.
On the last note here fuel miles are aboiut the same was always around 36-40MPG and seem to still be there. Though lowest was 38 but have only run 2 tanks.
