Our trusted aging VRSCR keeping good company with two very fine modern retros. The R Nine T is with me (camera bike ridden by my 74 year dad) when we had the new Triumph Thruxton R overtake us, so I fancied a closer look. With the new retros that are out nowadays, I can't help feel that if the VRSCR was only just being produced now, it'd sell much better.... I mean, Harley's vision all those years ago to fit Showa suspension with Brembo brakes, is exactly what triumph have only just done with the new Thruxton R, which incidentally is a mighty fine bike.
