Hi, Im new to the Vrod but loving it.
I bought a 2013 muscle a couple of weeks ago with Remus slip ons.
I then found out that it has a screaming eagle air filter and therefore required a re map of the ECM to run properly.
The previous owner says he sold a tuning kit months before selling the bike to me.
This leads me to believe that the owner before him put the mods on and also had the ECM remapped.
My question is: How can I be sure?
The bike seems to run fine to me but as I say Im new to this bike. Theres quite a lot of popping on deceleration but I think that could be acceptable, how do I know if its running too lean though?
Do I buy a PC5 or a screaming eagle tuner? Do a rolling road test?
When I bought the bike originally the remus slip ons were acceptable to run without any tuning and the bike was good to go. Ive done a couple of hundred miles but now Ive found the high flow air filter Im all confused about ECM's etc..
