So my searches on this site as well as google didn't come up with the info I desired so I'm trying this. Plus, most of the threads I found were several years old.
I have a MS-BikeTec rear fender on the way so I'm scrambling to figure out which air ride to go with. I also guess progressive front springs is my only option up front. Correct? I have a 2014 NRS.
Anyway, it sounds like the three mentioned are the top tier for V-Rod air ride.
The Arnotts look the best to me but I worry about the purplish anodizing fade.
Legends, not sure I like the air bag out in the open.
Platinum, they look fine although I wish they were all black rather than the inner chrome shock portion.
I WILL go with the adjustable model. Platinum Bleed Feed, Arnott's adjustable...
One thing that is confusing, the Arnotts I see saying they use a Fox shock/Goodyear bag. Yet I also see them listed as using Aldan shocks? Also, did Arnott just come out with a new model at Sturgis?
Another question, I run the stock 240 now but when it needs to be changed, will most likely jump to the 260 Metzler. Not sure if that is an issue. Do the Arnotts need stops?
Anyway, Arnotts, Legends, or Platinums? And why?
