Several months ago I fitted the HID headlight system from DDM with the crossover wiring fix. I havent had any problems at all until this weekend when I noticed that there seems to be an intermittent issue with the lowbeam staying on once the bike starts.
The sequence of events is
1. turn on the main power switch to IGN - the headlight comes on
2. turn on the power switch - headlight stays on
3. press the starter switch down - the headlight will flicker while the engine starter motor runs.
4. Engine starts - 50/50 chance the headlight is still on.
5. If the headlight is off - rinse and repeat until the light stays on after starting the motor.
Anyone had this issue before and know what the issue might be? I want to try narrow down the problem before I start ordering new parts - headlight? ballast? wiring? switch? battery?
