Hello, I have a 2007 Night Rod. While driving the other day the battery light and check engine light came on. shortly after that bike starter to misfire and run poorly. The bike then shut off and would not start. Felt like it had no battery power. Was towed to the local Harley dealer. Was told it would be $1000 to replace stater. I picked up the Harley with hopes of being able to do it on my own and way cheaper. I'm having trouble finding the right parts I need. Also I was told this would be a very difficult job and probably not able to do it. Can someone give me some advise on replacing the stator. Is there any special tricks or tools that i will need to complete this job. Thank you for all your help.
