Ever since I brought my 08 VRSCAW home in June my neighbor, an experienced biker with a street glide, has been talking smack about his buddies new Dyna 110 screaming eagle. Always going on about how fast it is because it has so much power and is so light. I'm not that familiar with the dyna so I didn't argue with him, but I've grown increasingly sick of listening to his rambling on about how great the dyna is and how I'd get my ass handed to me by that thing.
Well last weekend we were out for a cruise and his buddy shows up with his dyna. Late in the ride we came up an onramp to the interstate side by side and the conditions were perfect. Even though the dyna got on the throttle first and started to pull away, my old vrod pulled by it like it was dragging an anchor. We tried it again a few miles later and the results were equally embarrassing for the dyna. It wasn't even close. He didn't try to make any excuses thankfully. Funny, nobody talking smack about my old vrod in the garage anymore. :spank:
