Melted slacks on Exhaust

Hey guys,

I just got my bike fitted with the Fitzgerald Cut Throat exhaust and it is awesome.
However the pipes do run a little hotter than normal.
So much so that just my slacks blowing in the wind made contact with the pipe and instantly melted.
I ride slacks on my bike probably 80% of the time and the first time i rode with the new exhaust this happens (First time ever)
Not complaining i love the exhaust and hatted the stock.
But how do i get this brown gunk of the denim finish without ruining the exhaust?
