All new Street kits will now go out with Ducati Type Pico injectors and 5 bar boost sensitive fuel pressure regulator and vac hose. This will give owners the opportunity to run up to 195whp without further additions or mods to the kits other than remapping. The kits will still come with a 31mm restrictor in the supercharger intake to limit power to around 165 whp. But if your the sort of guy who just wants the occasional squirt in power you could run unrestricted. The Ducati Pico's flow around 5 % more, the regulator will keep fuel pressure at 5 bar Plus boost pressure so giving a lot more fuel over the stock 4 bar minus boost pressure, this calculates out at a 35% increase in fuel flow at the limiter. No guarantee can be given to the life expectancy of the engine in any boosted situation BUT there are a lot of my kits out there running on stock engines at over 165 whp. with no problem.
We are also looking at ways of sealing the throttle body inlet rubber to the head better. We have noticed that they can leak quite badly, reducing boost and power. Will keep you advised on what we come up with.
