Swingarm guide HD-47176

Hi all,

I'm about to get the swingarm out for a paint job. Before I do so I'm making sure I have everything ready to install it back. The manual refers to a swingarm guide, part number HD-47176. Can anyone tell me if this tool is mandatory? Can I install it back without it?

Also, does anyone know the size of the allen needed on the right hand side of the pivot shaft? I have the 30mm socket for the left hand side but I need to buy the allen for the right hand side.
