I'm doing the DCL Led mod and thought I'd take the opportunity to clean the inside of the gauge glass.
Well, let me tell you. If you look at the glass wrong, it will scratch. The outside of the glass seems nice and smooth, but the inside is rough. And it has this residue that is in the shape of the rubber gasket that goes around it and each section of the gauge. I accidentally scratched it with my fingernail and even more trying to fix that!
Is there a way to get replacement glass easily? Or a polish that will be able to undo the scratches?
