Fuel pump and sock kit - 2004 VRSCA

Took my 2004 VRSCA into a HD service center and was notified that the fuel pump and sock kit (62109-01A) needs to be replaced and the part costs 400 bucks.
When I checked online for after market parts i found the fuel pump for about 60 bucks but unable to determine what the sock kit is.
Anyone know what this is and if they can help find the part or a link to it.
