I recently picked up a highly modded 06 sport rod. Only things I really need to correct are cosmetic and of those the biggest is that the tail plastic is broken.
It looks like a custom fiberglass piece based on the craftsmanship, but I was wondering if anyone had any clues as to who made it? I plan on repairing the fiberglass to get it to mount, but the seat is pretty shit and I need some more leg room. The bottom of the seat is stamped RDW-92/61-0067, but as far as I can tell that is a passenger seat from a dyna? Does anyone have any ideas on getting a seat that is going to be a bit thicker (to give more leg room) and still fit appropriately? Or any other thoughts on leg room. The exhaust means I cant really drop the rearsets.
The bike has a larger tank, and I have a stock VRSCR tail and undertail and seat. The undertail (metal structural part) seems totally different than whats on my bike.
Final question. I have no key fobs. just a little key for ignition. How hard is it to get key fobs made? Bike has no issue of turning on/off or anything, and I have all the clean paperwork on it going back to its original purchase.
