Bike is '08 DX I was replacing cylinder head gaskets and everything was rolling along smoothly, did the rear then the front. When lining up the key links .. The double goes to bottome at timing mark then 1 each intake and exhasut up top. The problem is when lined up correctly the Intake camshaft does not seat properly unless I move it back 1 tooth, Bike ran great before and unfortunately i failed to notice these marks when disasembled... (Lesson learned) Any Thoughts?
Now one thing I tried which I shouldnt have was to remove stop and try and turn crank just a tit bit, I did not want to turn back so I remove chain from front and rotated 360 back to TDC. How farked am I or what the fark did I do wrong. Done many heads before have all neccesary tools shop manual. Was suppossed to be at Wildwood NJ Bike week tomorrow but this obviously need s fixin.
