I have only been riding a couple months and this is my first bike. I have a 2014 NRS and I recently installed the Slayer 4" extended forward controls. This was after reading on these forums that it would cause me to not have to squeeze the bike with my legs. Unfortunately, I find that after about an hour of highway riding, I am beginning to fatigue from still needing to squeeze. I am about 6'2" and I am fit.
Most of my friends ride Street Glides, Electra Glides, and Road Kings. They say they solved this problem with highway pegs attached to their engine guards. I am not sure if an engine guard would affect the cool factor on these bikes. Is this my only option, or what do you all recommend?
