Give that HD have given up on the VRod how does that bode for the resale value?
I have a 2012 Night Rod Special, I love the bike but wondering whether to dump it now or hang on to it. If resale value typically goes down once a model is discontinued then obviously its time to sell. It's a hard call as it might go up due to rarity but then I think of Buell (I owned one years ago) and they didn't really appreciate after they were discontinued (a few times!) but they never had a good resale value to start with.
What do you guys think? Dump it while prices are still decent or hang on for a few years when they become scarce as hens teeth?
