Before someone says use the search bar, i did.... found nothing in regards to rear mount turbo in the results....
I was bored googling turbo vrod because a good friend of mine who i ride with normally just finished turbocharging his Suzuki Hayabusa and while googling turbo vrod i came across a post that mentioned Vrod in it.. so it got tagged under results, but it was a guy who instead of buying a 6k dollar kit from someone, he built a rear mount turbo setup to go just in front of the rear tire since he was removing the OEM exhaust.. most place the turbo setup crammed up behind the front tire.. well this guy claims his spoolup is within 400rpms of the kits mounted up front with the same turbo they used. His diy setup pushed his engine output from 137hp to 241hp and gained him 2mpg on his daily commute to work on the bike. I was just curious because most turbo kits for the Vrod seem to make it nearly unstreetable due to the turbo being placed near the foot peg location, turning it into a dragster at that point.. you could easily mount a small turbo in the location of the massive amount of exhaust sits on the OEM bike or most Vrods with dual muffler exhaust..
