Questions regarding effect of tune changes

My bike is a 2009 Muscle w/ Stage 2 cams, topless, K&N filter and it had V&H unbaffled exhaust, all when I bought it. It was dyno tuned by the dealer that did the Stage 2 install. Since I’ve had the bike, I made several attempts to baffle the exhaust and finally resorted to the factory pipes.
I’ve retuned each iteration of baffling and back to the factory exhaust using MyTune software and recording data. I have a Super Tuner box. I’ve only made small iterations, but want to improve my cruising economy a bit and while looking at my recordings and map, I came up with some questions:
1. Comparing my VE map with the baseline Stage2 (176VAG003), I can see many adjustments that were made at the dyno. But the baseline and my map are very similar in the following area. 25% and up throttle position and RPM 1000-1750, both have Rear Cyl values as high as 40% higher than the front. I looked at several other maps and they have the same situation. Is there any valid reason for this?
2. Also in the VE tables, I noticed areas where there were very abrupt changes in values. Going from 110 to 81 between 6500 and 7000 RPM. The baseline 176VAG003 table does the same thing dropping from 109ish to 90ish between 5500 and 6000 RPM. I can’t imagine any reason for any abrupt changes. Am I missing something? Should I try to smooth things a bit.
3. I changed my A-F ratio in the cruising are 10-20 MAP & 4000 to 6000 RPM from 14.1 to 14.2. The highest value in my table was 14.1, all through the mid RPM. Most of lower RPM is 13.8, most of high RPM is 13.3. Would this help my goal and was it enough of an increase?
4. I also looked at all my previous recorded data at all speed and acceleration conditions. I never found any Knock Retard in either cylinder. This seems to indicate I could advance the Spark a bit, so I bumped the cruise area (10-30 MAP, 4500-6000) RPM by 1 degree. All are near 50 degrees.

After making the changes to A-F, Spark Advance and EV tables, I recorded data and ran MyTune and found it wanted some very minor changes in a few EV values. I could not really tell any differences when riding and there we still no Knock Retard event. Too soon to tell if my fuel economy improves and the changes were so minor I may not notice. I’m just trying to understand if there are other changes (smoothing) I should do and if making more drastic changes to A-F and Spark Advance would help or hinder.
