I bought this cheaply made Chinese 19" knock-off fender off of eBay (intended for a Dyna I think) and turned it into a full-wrap hugger for my '05SE. After cutting & shaping, I think it's actually a wee bit lighter than the GR fiberglass Talon that was unfortunately discontinued. Otherwise I would have went that route.
Anyway, after welding up SS mounting brackets and smoothing out the imperfections, I tackled my first candy-apple paint job in my make-shift spray-booth (basement rec room). First time using PPG waterborne - love it. Thanks to dumb luck, I even got it pretty close to the CVO candy red.
I'm doing something similar with a $50 21" for an '04B restoration, though I'll stick to it's original Harley's "racing orange".
